About Modenlink Travel
Modenlink Travel is a licensed private hire operator providing chauffeur-driven journeys, starting in London. We keep things simple, clear and honest, from the first quote to the moment you step out of the car.
Who we are
We are a chauffeur and private hire company. Our customers travel with us to and from airports and cruise ports, to business meetings, to weddings and events, and on journeys where they simply want a comfortable, reliable car with a professional driver. London is the first city we serve, and we plan to add more UK cities over time. You can see where we operate on our cities page.
We would rather show you how we work than tell you how good we are. So this page explains how a booking with us is put together, who is responsible for your journey and what you can expect at each stage.
We are the operator you contract with
When you book with Modenlink Travel, your contract is with us. We are the licensed private hire operator, and we accept the booking, arrange the driver and vehicle and remain responsible for the journey. The chauffeur who drives you is working on our behalf. If anything goes wrong, you come to us and we deal with it. Our booking terms set this out in full.
We hold a private hire operator licence from the relevant licensing authority for each area we serve. Our licence details are shown on this site and on your booking confirmation.
What we value
- Clear prices. We confirm the price for your journey before you travel. Fares come from our pricing, not from a guess on the day.
- Straight answers. If we cannot do something, we say so. We would rather lose a booking than make a promise we cannot keep.
- Proper records. Every booking is recorded: who booked it, who confirmed it, who drove, which vehicle was used and what was paid. That protects you and it protects our drivers.
- Respect for your time. We plan pickups with a sensible margin, and for airport collections our team checks your flight status before your pickup.
- Care for people. That means passengers, drivers and our own team. Good service is much easier when everyone is treated fairly.

Cars and partners
We offer several vehicle classes, from comfortable saloons to executive cars and people carriers. Each class is described as a model "or similar", because the exact car depends on availability on the day. You can see the classes on our fleet page.
For larger groups we arrange minibuses and coaches through licensed partner operators. We do not own coaches, and we will always tell you when a journey is being supplied by a partner. See minibus hire and coach hire for details.

Who is responsible for my journey, you or the driver?
We are. Modenlink Travel is the licensed operator that accepts your booking, so your contract is with us and we remain responsible for the journey from start to finish.
Can I book online straight away?

Do you use partner operators?
Only for group vehicles such as minibuses and coaches, which are supplied by licensed partner operators. We always tell you when a partner is involved.
