Coach hire with driver in London

For conferences, tours, sports clubs and large wedding parties, a coach keeps everyone together. We arrange midi and full-size coaches with drivers through licensed partner operators and quote each trip individually.

What you can expect

Coaches arranged through licensed partners

We are a chauffeur and private hire company, and we do not own coaches. For large groups we work with partner operators who hold a public service vehicle operator licence and employ professionally qualified coach drivers. We take your requirements, find a suitable coach, confirm the details with the partner and send you a quote. After you accept, we remain the team you talk to.

A midi coach suits groups that are too big for a minibus but do not need a full-size vehicle; it is also easier to manoeuvre in narrow streets and hotel forecourts. A full-size coach is the usual choice for large conference parties, tours and events where most passengers carry luggage. We will recommend a size based on your numbers, bags and route.

Where coaches work well

  • Conference and exhibition shuttles between hotels and venues.
  • Airport and cruise port transfers for large groups.
  • Day trips and tours from London to towns and attractions around the south of England.
  • Wedding guest transport between ceremony, reception and hotels.
  • Sports clubs, choirs, schools and societies travelling to fixtures or performances.

Planning a coach trip in London

Central London has restrictions on where large vehicles can stop, wait and park. Some hotels have no room for a coach at the entrance, and some venues have dedicated coach bays a short walk away. When we plan your trip, we look at each pickup and drop-off point and let you know if passengers will need to walk a short distance to board.

Long days involve rules on drivers' hours, which the partner operator must follow. For a full day or a long-distance itinerary, the quote may include extra driver time or a second driver. We will explain this clearly rather than leave it to the small print.

For smaller groups, minibus hire or one of our executive MPVs may be a better fit. If you are also arranging cars for VIPs or speakers alongside the coach, our corporate travel team can coordinate both.

Questions about coach hire

What is the difference between a midi coach and a full-size coach?

A midi coach carries fewer passengers and is easier to manoeuvre in tight streets. A full-size coach carries a large group and usually has more luggage space. We will recommend the right size for your trip.

Who provides the coach and driver?

Coaches and drivers are supplied by licensed partner operators that hold a public service vehicle operator licence. We arrange everything and remain your contact.

Can the coach collect us from our hotel entrance?

That depends on the hotel and the street. Some central London hotels cannot accommodate a coach, so we will tell you in advance if passengers need to walk to a nearby boarding point.

Can you plan a full-day tour?

Yes. Send us the stops and timings, and the quote will allow for drivers' hours rules, which may mean extra driver time on long days.

Moving a large group?

Send us your itinerary and we will arrange a suitable coach.
