Getting from London to Dover
Dover is on the Kent coast in the south-east of England, facing France across the Channel. It is best known as a ferry port, and that matters when you travel there for a cruise. The cruise terminal is separate from the main ferry check-in lanes, and at busy times the approach roads into the town can be congested with freight and holiday traffic heading for the ferries.
